Is LVP the same as SPC flooring?
In practice yes. LVP (luxury vinyl plank) is the North American retail name; the dominant construction under that name is rigid-core SPC - a limestone-and-PVC core that is 100% waterproof. What US retailers call 'waterproof rigid core' is exactly what we manufacture: 4-8 mm planks, 0.3-0.55 mm wear layers, UNILIN/Valinge click.
What are the import duties on Chinese LVP for the US market?
Be prepared, not surprised: vinyl flooring classifies under HTS 3918.10 with a base duty of roughly 5.3-5.8% depending on the 10-digit line, plus Section 301 List 3 duties of 25% for China-origin goods, and additional 2025-26 trade measures may apply - total landed duty commonly runs 30-45%+.
